Our Twitter bot, @Fails_us , was programmed to retweet posts on the hottest and most polarizing issues, from political and sports fails to social justice and even medicine. We were trying to see how far the bot could push the envelope and the response was overwhelming.

For a year, we had a large following, and our tweets generated a lot of engagement and discussion. However, as you might have guessed, our approach was not without consequences. Our account was eventually flagged and permanently banned by Twitter for violating the platform's terms of service. We were shocked and saddened, but at the same time, we learned a valuable lesson.
